Day 37

Woke up at 10.30am today and immediately had my team meeting after i brushed. We didn't have our breakfast until 1pm plus when Chin Xiang and the others went to buy lunch for us. Thanks alot people! We stayed in the room the whole day until 5pm when we went down to exercise.

Our dinner host tonight - Fiza & Amirah!!! Both of them treated us to dinner to celebrate the last day of Hari Raya :)

Fried noodle, egg & beef fried rice, mutton satay, some side dishes and a few bottles of drinks. Just like a big feast after our hard work haha!

Our dear friend here had to carry the sleeping beauty out to have the delicious dinner as she was just too tired to wake up and eat? Haha.

A close-up view of our foods. How does it looks to you? Haha. Looks good? Haha. Frankly speaking, the dinner was really nice. Haha. Once again, thank you fiza and amirah :)

Back to team meeting again after dinner. We have to try to rush and finish our video by tomorrow hopefully.

Day 36

Celebrated Adeline's birthday EARLY in the morning at 12am. HAHA! Can see that she's happy and I'm touched haha. Celebrating each other birthday together. Such warm feelings. Was supposed to have a good sleep after the celebration but was woke up by Mr Puah saying that the WUST logistic students wanted to pay us a visit.

When all of us are ready to go, we were told that one representative to meet them will do and we can stay in our room, I was kind of irritated. The students should have make themselves clear.

Since we're already awake, a group of us went out for breakfast and went shopping neaby WUST. Bought a Adidas jacket which looks really cool. Finally bought my jacket!

After we're back in our rooms, I stayed in the room to rest until evenings when Julian, samanatha, karen and I went to the Halal store at the back alley for dinner.

6th NE Message: We have confidence in our future.

After being through so much for the past 1 month plus, I realised Singapore is so much better, lesser pollutions, much civilized and many more. Furthermore, since we're a small country, each and everyone is given a chance to excel in their own area of specialities. Unlike China where there's such a huge population, not everyone is given a chance.

Being United, determined and well-prepared, we have what it takes to build a bright future for ourselves, and to progress together as one nation. Bright future awaits us.
Day 35

Time for church service again! Woke up at 6.45am to prepare myself. It was indeed tired.
My first time entering a Catholic church main hall and attending its service. This is the main entrance to the main hall. An unique experience indeed. Even though there's a Catholic church beside my previous flat but i never stepped in to experience their service myself.
A picture taken after the service at 9.30am. A small foutain in the church where they say their prayers, i suppose? Except for benjamin who's not in the picture as he took this picture for us, we went to the church as a group of 5.

We walked from the church to Bu Xing Jie and we were almost froze to death haha. The weather was so cold that even two layers of clothing isn't even enough for us. We went to KFC to have something light and continue strolling down the streets after Mr Puah left us. Guess what? We found a Haagen-Dazs shop here in Bu Xing Jie! Haha. We were so excited that we sat in and Julian and Benjamin ordered two plates of Ice creams.
This was what Julian ordered. Nicely decorated dish isn't it? Haha
This was what Benjamin ordered haha. Though it may not look as appealing but it tastes just as good as what Julian ordered. Each has its own uniqueness.
As you can see from the picture, we're the only customers in the entire shop. I guess maybe the stuffs here are just too expensive to consume.
We took a cab immediately, after enjoying our food at Haagen-Dazs, to the rows of shops opposite mei shi jie.
After a few kilometers of trekking and viewing of musical stores around the mei shi jie area, we finally reached our destination. The music institute!!! I bought my "Suzuki cello book" at approximately S$6 which costs S$18 in Singapore. Great deal indeed haha!!!
Though tired but since all felt like going to the wholesales place at Han Zhen Jie, we took a cab and went there.

It was a seriously big place and there were alots of stuffs to see. Just look at the whole rows of shops selling clothings here. This is just one small part of the Han Zhen Jie.

Another part of Han Zhen Jie, looks cleaner and nicely decorated right? Haha. Though we never really buy anything but yes, we finally came to this wholesales place and see what it is like. After this, we went straight back to Bu Xing Jie again to have our dinner and continue looking for more better deals. Haha. Later in the night, while the others are still shopping, Clarissa, Benjamin and I went back first. I think this whole day, I spent more on transportation than clothings and foods.

Day 33 & 34

Had our IS presentation yesterday and sadly, Xiao Ling lao shi was not able to make it. It seems like we're one of the minority group in MDE to dress up formally for the presentation haha. The photographer forgotten to take the empty video tape which made our presentation delayed to 9.40am!!! The presentation stretched all the way to 2pm and was still left with 2 groups which have not presented yet.

There is a class at 2pm so we ought to leave the lecture hall and not very sure about the ECE division but MDE went to teaching block where we usually have our lecture and continue with the last presentation.

Went out for shopping with a group of my peers till dinner. Mr Puah TREATING us to dinner today!!! :)

We separated ourselves into 2 tables and check out the dishes!!! Feel like tasting it? Come to Wuhan! Haha!

Visited one of the tourism attraction place again this morning. A total of three places and all three are located at DONG HU. This is the first place - Wuhan Botanical Garden!!!

Check out the flowers in Wuhan, aren't there just as beautiful? It's an unique experience indeed.

Cactus is one of the most common plant you would find in the botanical garden. The cactus ranges from one that is as minute as your palm to one that is as tall as a lamp post. This trip had seriously made me 大开眼界!!!

A pond inside the botanical garden. Not sure if there are any big fishes but there are frogs inside the pond haha!

Took a picture with my two cute friends before leaving this place.

Second part of our visits - Moshan Hill. We're about to ascend to the "Fortress" as shown in the background of this picture above :)

Finally!!! At the top of the "Fortress". Nice scenery can be seen from this place.

Cool Sculpture isn't it? Every sculture that we had seen today has it's historially myth and legends.

Highlights of the day!!! We paid RMB 10 each to dress ourselves up in the chinese cosplay!!!
For your information, I'm dressed up as the prince of Tang dynasty. HAHA!

Can you see tower at the top of the mountain? 10 of us stayed back and had pinics and games with ourselves while some went up to the tower and some at some other places.

Last place of our visit today. Some of us stayed in the bus and rested as we're too shagged while majority went down the bus to the East Lake. After this, we returned back to WUST.

Day 32

Had our last IS lecture today with Xiao Ling Lao Shi. Hmm frankly speaking, I felt so fortunate to know such a caring and easy-going lecturer like her. One who would offer herself to bring me to the place I want to go, who would go a long way just to find out about the place that I want to go and to be willing to book the indoor basketball court for me when I asked her about it. Though it may be sad to leave her but it is an honour and happiness to know such a nice lecturer.

Our first and our last picture with her I guess? Haha. That's her in the middle. Lesson ended at 10am so canteen stalls aren't open yet so I went out with Julian to MacDonald and had our early lunch there. We went to the converse shop, just beside the MacDonald, which majority have already been there to buy the CHEAP clothes.

*CONVERSE* !!!

I bought 2 shirt while Julian bought one haha! We went to the supermarket to buy apples after that and went back to WUST. Rested in my room and prepare my IS ppt with my group for presentation tomorrow.

Went out to do a few pull-ups while karen and yi ning went for a jog and we went back to have our dinner along our balcony. Mr Puah once said he will cook one last time and I think this is the last time?

Delicious and healthy duck porridge!!! Doesn't the picture looks so tempting??? HAHA!!!

Day 31

Woke at 9.30am this morning. Felt so refreshed! Finally get to have a good rest.

Chin Xiang took over my place to accompany andy for his dental appointment early in the morning and they came back later in the morning and went out computer city. Julian and I stayed back. We ate fried rice at the new Halal store we found and went back to rest and do our own stuffs.

Later in the evenings, Karen, Yi Ning, Geok Ting and I went for a jog to keep FIT! Haha.

Had dinner with Karen, Julian and Samantha at the same new Halal store. This is my first time in china trying out the hand made noodle. Healthy food as compared to the fried rice haha. Doesn't the picture I uploaded makes you feel like trying? Haha

Internet have been getting slower and slower and projects and reports have to be delayed. I wonder how we are going to handle our assignments with more and more demand being threw at us. The internet is seriously too slow.

Day 30

Had IS lecture in the morning and follow by our second and last test of BPE. Instead of 7 questions, we got 8 this time round. Though it's a open book test but it was seriously too tough for me. Trying my best to look forward and forget about this.

I went to meet Julian and friends for lunch and bought lunch back for Andy and Shiuan Shiuan who were busy I guess. I went down to play badminton, volleyball and captain's ball at around 3.30pm and had a jog of 8 rounds in the stadium!!! It's my first time. LOL. Anyway today's weather was rather windy, I guess it's about time the weather is starting to turn into the autumn.

I had dinner with samantha, julian and karen at a muslim shop and went off to Jian She 7 lu. 3 of them bought some stuffs except for me haha! We took a cab there and back. Did our shopping in less than 2 hours.

Back in WUST, eat my medicine again! Thanks to Willis who reminded me to take as I totally forgot about it.

4th NE Message: No one owes Singapore a living.

We find our own way to survive and prosper, turning challenge into opportunity. Through this OIP, I learnt to depend on myself instead of my parents. Though it isn't as easy adapting to a new environment which caused me to fall sick but I felt since I chose this path, I should try my best to adapt to the lifes here as soon as possible.

Been doing shopping the last few weeks during my free time and true enough, people here are hard to negotiate/bargain. It's through this challenges that taught me how I can improve my negotiation/bargaining skills. I feel that feeling this kind of challenges now may just create opportunities for me in the future in some areas of businesses.

Day 29

No lesson today again! Finally a rest day or should I say a test break day for us. Woke up at around 9.30am to find the other 2 sleeping haha. Went to buy breakfast with Julian at the back market. TANG BAO again. I remembered it was Willis who treated me to tang bao at the snack house a few weeks ago which made me addicted to it. HAHAHA!!!

Upon returning back to our room, I accompanied Suelyn to buy her breakfast at the same place again while Julian took our clothes down for laundry services. Rushed to find Julian at the medical centre after Suelyn bought her foods. It was quite a interesting experience this time round at the centre. A smoker approached us to ask why are we there for when we went into an empty room. To our surprise, he was the doctor! LOL! Seems like local doctors here are very different from Singapore. They didnt really examine our sickness but just merely asked what we faced and write us a slip of medicine.

Julian and I went on to the supermarket to top up our necessity and we went back to WUST. While I'm studying in the room, It was really nice of our dear Julian to sweep and mop the room for us, it seems so much cleaner and spacious now. After Julian was done with the work, we went down for a game of badminton with our ECE friends haha. Challenging indeed :)

Dinner time!!! Chin Xiang bought dinner for us, TANG BAO my favourite again hahaha. Hopes I wont get fat!!! After dinner it was all about studying and blogging again hahahaha
Day 27 & 28

Woke up early in the morning but didn't have enough time to prepare myself and was late for bus. It was in the bus that we realised that we're not going to climb Wudang Shan today but tomorrow.

The journey was seriously long and caused my butt to ache. In between the journey we had stopped twice for washroom (WC) and as always we would go to the convienent store nearby and purchase some snacks or drinks. This bus driver of our tour, though he knows that we will always be late or delay a little bit of the time, it seems that he never fails to threaten us or giving us that impatience look on his face. He's just not the right driver we need.

Upon reaching, we had to take another 2 interval of buses at Wudang Shan which brought us over to "Tai Zi Po" for sight eyeing. Except for the beautiful scenery, there wasn't much to buy as in the souveniers. We checked in to the hotel late which caused us a little problem but glad it was solved in split seconds.

Woke up early in the morning on Sunday, 6am to find that Andy and I was the first to be at the dining table. I wonder why but we were seriously rushed by the tour guide which made our impression of them bad.

We had a choice to make upon reaching Wudang Shan, climb up and take the cable car down or take cable car up and down. I chose to take cable car up and down which costed RMB95! Like it or not we're really at the peak of the mountain this time round. Haha!

Even though we took the cable car up but there were still quite a number of steps to climb. Looking at the beautiful scenery from the top is seriously so cool though there were also many other tourists. This time round we were asked to be back at our bus at 12pm and we reached at 2pm. We had our own valid reasons. We left Wudang Shan for late lunch and went back to WUST.
